Burch Draft Revision Checklist

In revising this paper, I noticed that there were many grammatical errors I was intentionally unaware of. I think the introduction could be further expanded to give greater detail to what exactly my project is about. I also noticed that some of the points I attempted to make concerning the importance of the Sutherlandia Frutescens were repeated throughout the paper. This illustrates a lack of complete understanding of the plant, and that I need to think of more reasons we should invest time into this project. The sentence structure of some of my paragraphs are a bit choppy, and don’t flow well due to wordiness. I also noticed that my implementation of the project is a bit vague. I don’t really know the resources and tools I need, or exactly how to measure the effectively of the plant on AIDs patients. I also don’t know the time length required to fulfill this project. Finally, my conclusion is fairly weak. It only reiterates what I said initially in the paper; it does nothing to convince the audience to fund my academic project. Overall, the paper doesn’t capture the audience’s attention and the project itself isn’t presented clearly.

How bout That Chem Test?

Gonna Study like it's 1999

Study, Study, Study. Will NOT Fail Chemistry. Gonna totally kill this exam, resurrect it, then kill it again! lol Stayin optimistic when there's probably no hope at all makes studyin easier. *sigh* back to studyin...wish me luck.

Charlie Brown!

So I'm a huge Charlie Brown fan. I worship every holiday movie special that was ever made. Every time the specials come on ABC I HAVE to watch them. Does anyone know when Charlie Brown a Christmas story comes on?

Good News 4 Me

Happy Days!!! My women's studie's paper's deadline was extended to next Tuesday! And I don't have to deal with stupid newspaper clippings for US government anymore! My Thanksgiving break just keeps looking better and better! I can't wait. :)

Scramble

So a paper I thought was due Wednesday is actually due Monday. I need 2700 words. I have 913. I'm sure this is gonna be a wonderful weekend. Not.

What is the definition of Facebook stalking? Is there some standard? I think I might be guilty of this sometimes. :(

Papers

I have four papers I need to get done before Thanksgiving break. There's one due from Women Studies, African American Studies, US Government, and English. I haven't started on any of them. FML

Thanksgiving

I'm so ready for Thanksgiving Break. I'm counting down the days. I've never needed a break as much as I do now. Ugh, I wish these two weeks would fly by so I can go home with no school worries!

Classes

So I totally forgot about this blog so I'm breaking the 1 blog a day rule (sorry! at least I'm doing it!) Im happy that I was able to register for all my classes, and next semester I'm done by 12 everyday, except for days I have lab. Joy.

nothing special

My hands have been so full with school that I really dont have time to post anything interesting or witty. So yeah. Back to studying and stuff. Still gotta finish my lab report and annotated bibliography and study for a final exam.
